Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives - 1986 | Story and Screenshots

At the burial site, they see that the casket has been reburied by Martin the caretaker, as Tommy shouts out that his friend Allen Hawes had been put in the grave. At the county line, Sheriff Garris again threatens Tommy about never seeing him here again.

In the woods near the cemetery that night, Martin is drinking from his whiskey bottle and wandering aimlessly. He tosses his empty container over his head, but he doesn't hear the glass break. Jason had caught the discarded bottle, then crushed it, and used the broken-edged glass to stab Martin in the throat.

Nearby, two lovers, Steven (Roger Rose) and Annette (Cynthia Kania), who are making out on a blanket, hear the death screams. They flee after Steven catches a glimpse of Jason standing over Martin's dead body - and as the two are climbing onto his motorcycle, Jason stabs both of them together with his machete, a two-for-one kill.

At Camp Forest Green, the campers are all asleep in their bunkhouse on their first night. Camp counselor Sissy describes her new card game (dubbed Camp Blood) to Paula. She said that the Jack of Spades represented Jason, and the other face cards are the counselors - the object of the game is to determine from the piles of cards which cabin Jason is in. A scream brings them to the bedside of young camper Nancy (Courtney Vickery), who prophetically claims there is a monster after her. She claims it wasn't just a bad dream.

Away from camp, counselor Cort is having sex with partially-clothed, slutty girlfriend Nikki (Darcy DeMoss) in her stepfather's borrowed RV motorhome. Outside, Jason appears and unplugs their power. Cort finds the frayed end of the power cord, while Jason sneaks into the camper and hides in the bathroom. Fearing Jason might be out there, they decide to leave and get on the highway. Jason grabs Nikki, silences her by covering her mouth, drags her into the bathroom, and crushes her face against the RV wall's mirror. He then stabs a large serrated Bowie hunting knife into the side of Cort's head while he is driving.

The camper flips onto its side and catches fire. Unhurt, Jason emerges from the side door, and stands triumphantly on top of the wrecked vehicle.

Away from her camp's duties, smart-mouthed, brassy Megan is arguing with her single parent Sheriff father at his office. Deputy Rick Cologne phones in with the news of the discovery of the bodies of head counselors Darren and Lizabeth. Sheriff Garris suspects the murderer to be Tommy Jarvis. When her father leaves for the murder scene, Tommy calls and Megan warns him that her father is out looking for him. Garris is blaming him for all the problems with Jason. She proposes picking him up in her car at Karloff's General.

As Tommy had feared and predicted, Jason arrives at the front entrance to Camp Forest Green. An all-points alert is sent by Sheriff Garris regarding Tommy, dubbed the "wacko kid." Tommy is suspected of being a copy-cat killer who is blaming the murders on Jason. Roadblocks are set up. In addition to the two corpses of the counselors, Deputy Cologne also discovers dismembered body parts of paint-ball gamer Roy strewn about the woods. This confirms Garris' contentions about Tommy.

Jason cuts the phone line at the camp, and then stalks Sissy from outside. He reaches in through an open window, picks her up by her shoulders, and pulls her outside, and there he twists her head around and rips it off. Later, her decapitated head is found in the Sheriff's vehicle. Young camper Nancy sits up in bed, startled when she sees Jason carrying the decapitated body of Sissy past her window.

Shortly later, the last remaining counselor on the camp grounds, Paula, suggests to Nancy that she say a little prayer to make the scariness go away. In her own cabin, she is viciously hacked with a machete as blood splatters everywhere, and her body is thrown through a glass window.

Megan picks up Tommy, and insists on joining him, and she also proposes to help him get supplies. They come upon a roadblock, and to hide Tommy, Megan pushes him down. He finds his face buried in her crotch. They are pursued and eventually cornered at another roadblock, where her father confronts her. Tommy is arrested and suspected of murder by Sheriff Garris after receiving a call about the discovery of the bodies of Cort and some girl, he is absolutely sure now, although Megan is convinced that he is innocent.

With Tommy's help, Megan breaks him out of jail (by kissing him, and masquerading it as an attack), and they lock Deputy Cologne in the cell. Tommy thinks they are already too late as they speed to Camp Forest Green. He explains that the only way now to stop Jason is to return him to his original resting place where he drowned in 1957: Crystal Lake.

With a group of police cars, Sheriff Garris converges on Camp Forest Green, where he plans to warn the other counselors about the three recent murders (Darren, Lizabeth, and Cort). Garris finds the bloodied counselor quarters, as his officers search the grounds.

Officer Thornton (Michael Nomad) is killed with a dart in his forehead, and he falls off the pier into a canoe. Nancy is again out of her bed, running in the dark and warning of a scary man.

Officer Pappes (Michael Swan) turns and is confronted by Jason - he shoots his gun five times in the torso of zombified Jason, with no effect, and his head is crushed in Jason's bare hands.

Sheriff Garris tries to protect the children, now awakened by gunfire, and leads them to a different cabin, where he instructs them to lie under the beds.

The Sheriff then comes face-to-face with the hockey-masked killer himself, and fires on him with both his shotgun and pistol. He then flees into the woods where Jason follows. Megan distracts Jason from finishing off the Sheriff, and he turns to pursue her. Protective of his daughter, the Sheriff jumps on Jason's back and wrestles him to the ground. He beats up on Jason, but his spinal cord is soon broken when he is folded backwards in half by Jason's super-strength.

Tommy's plan is to defeat Jason by killing him using the original means of his death: drowning. He takes a small motorboat from the dock, loaded with a gasoline can, and a length of chain padlocked to a large boulder (its other end was formed into a noose), and then takes the boat out into the middle of Crystal Lake, the location of Jason's drowning in 1957, to lure the killer there by baiting him. Jason wades into the lake after Tommy, who had also spread gasoline around his boat and set it on fire.

Although Jason attacks the boat and tries to strangle him, Tommy is able to put the noose end of the chain around Jason's neck, and sends the rock to the bottom of the lake - effectively sinking Jason there, as the boat breaks in two and partially sinks. The boulder hits the bottom of the lake, landing near the original Camp Crystal Lake sign replaced by the word "Blood", in red paint. Tommy is pulled under and strangled some more during an underwater struggle, until he shows no more signs of life.

When Tommy stops moving, Jason lets him go and his limp body floats up to the surface. Megan swims out to Tommy to try to save and rescue him. She is grabbed by the leg and pulled under by Jason, who is miraculously still alive.

To prevent being drowned herself, she reaches for the motorboat's engine and starts it up - she turns the engine in the water and moves the propeller into Jason's neck and main artery, where the spinning blades shred Jason's face and breaks his neck.

She brings an almost-drowned Tommy to the shore and administers CPR to revive him. The next morning, the camera tracks to the location on the surface and then underwater, where the maniacal psychopath is suspended at the bottom of Crystal Lake to die, but only temporarily. His right hand fist slightly clenches, and his eye opens to signify that he is not finally home.
