'Quantum Quest' Brings Science To Science-Fiction
September 16, 2010 - “Quantum Quest” is the story of a young photon named Dave, who apparently has no desire whatsoever to accept the duties and responsibilities of adulthood and leave his home on the Sun to serve his people, who are led by “The Core.”
Circumstances develop that forces Dave to finally leave the sun in a desperate attempt to save his people from the forces of evil led by the villainous, “The Void,” a creature that hates all knowledge, and driven by a desire to destroy all life.
This CGI movie is very unique by several factors, one of which is the incredible noteworthy cast of individuals who have lent their voices to the characters to tell this story that not only entertains, but teaches the viewers.

Halo Movie Still A Go, Possible TV Series in the Works
September 18, 2010 - The Halo movie project is one of those projects that is taking longer then the second coming to make its way into theaters but fortunately its for the right reasons.
Microsoft is very concerned about their game franchise being brought to the big screen in a form that supports and expands their franchise and does not ruin it like past videogame films have done. Case and point might be the DOOM movie starring The Rock which took a fantastic game franchise to the big screen and ruined it.
The HALO game franchise has made Microsoft almost $2billion and clearly Microsoft understand that the film could greatly expand not just the horizons of the game but also open up potential for more spin offs and even more company revenue.

Forbidden Planet' leads starship load of new Blu-ray titles
September 17, 2010 - The science-fiction classic "Forbidden Planet" is among a big and impressive list of films and TV series arriving on Blu-ray this week. "Forbidden Planet" is a landmark science-fiction production that impacted future filmmakers of the genre.
There are sequences here that bring to mind both "Star Trek" and "Star Wars." The special effects are quite pleasing considering that in 1956, CGI was the stuff of science fiction itself.
This is a fascinating and intelligent piece of science fiction made even more memorable by its all-electronic music score. Other sci-fi Blu-ray releases include THX 1138: Director's Cut, Mars Attacks!, Lost in Space, Matrix Reloaded, A Scanner Darkly, and Pulse.
