Deckard is not far behind with his blaster ready, he too is knocking people down. Almost every few yards he's crashing into people it's so crowded, he has lost site of Zhora.
He scans the crowd and starts wandering through them in search of her. The density of the crowd seems to get thicker, filled with Hari Krishna dancers and vehicles.
He catches a glimpse of Zhora who is unaware Deckard has spotted her, and he makes his way to get closer.
She notices him and picks up her pace, Deckard hops on to a moving bus and exits to shortcut through.
Zhora has ducked into a stairwell packed with people. Deckard notices her, he zeroes in on her and trying to aim his blaster, but she sees him and takes off up the stairs.
Zhora hops on top of cars, about the only place she can run without crashing into people. Deckard comes out of the crowd in time to spot her, she sees him and runs. He has his blaster aimed right at her back, but people are in the way of his line of fire.
DECKARD: MOVE! . . . GET OUT THE WAY!
He now has a clear shot and fires off a round, it's a miss. He takes off after her firing a second shot while still running, another miss.
Zhora crashes through a store window display, glass flying everywhere.
Deckard stops and takes careful aim, he still has a clear shot. He fires again, this time he blasts her right in the back. Zhora in pain, crashes through another glass display. The broken glass reflecting the ever surrounding neon lights gives the scene an erie kaleidoscope view.
Struggling to keep her balance, she falls to the ground, but manages to get back on her feet and continues running.
Deckard fires one more round, it pierces through her back and bursts out of her chest, a blood spray follows.
Zhora crashes once again through glass store displays perhaps more from just momentum. The display is a winter theme full of falling snow.
She falls to the ground crashing through the other side of the glass display, she doesn't get up.
Deckard comes forward, a few bystanders gather. The fake snow from the store's decimated display case is showering on the immediate scene only, giving the scene a surreal look as if it only snows where he is or near him.
He sees Zhora's body on her stomach surrounded by broken glass, the city's ocean of neon is reflected in the glass shards. Her clear plastic jacket is splattered with blood.
Cops have arrived and they turn her on her back revealing her blank expression face, eyes wide open. The audible sound of a heartbeat thumps away and then stops.
Deckard approaches the cops, flashing his badge . . .
DECKARD: Deckard. B26264.
Meanwhile, not far from them, Leon is taking all this in, he just stares grimly. Nothing he can do right now, but you can see a look of revenge on his face.
He sees Deckard walk away as a hovering police spinner is chanting to the crowd, "move on, move on, move on."
